Chris's Place

Chris’s Place is a voluntary short-term stabilization program that can be accessed by community members 18 years of age or older, as a step down from inpatient care until returning home, or as an alternate placement from inpatient care if clinically appropriate. The program is staffed 24 hours a day by those trained in Wellness Recovery Action Planning. The program is designed to primarily serve residents of the Clara Martin Center service area in an effort to provide care to people in a location as close to their home as possible, but may also serve other people referred from across the state in consultation with the Department of Mental Health and the referring agency.

All admissions to Chris’s Place are voluntary and an individual must be assessed by a Clara Martin Center screener prior to admission.
