NAMI-VT: National Alliance on Mental Illness-VT
NAMI Vermont is a statewide volunteer organization comprised of family members, friends and individuals living with a mental illness. NAMI -VT offers family and peer recovery support groups as well as Family-to-Family, Mental Illness and Recovery, and Provider Education classes.

Outright Vermont
Outright Vermont provides support, advocacy, and celebration of young queer people in Vermont.

State of Vermont 211
Vermont 2-1-1 is the phone number to dial to find hundreds of community resources like emergency food and shelter, disability services, counseling, senior services, healthcare, child care, drug and alcohol programs, legal assistance, transportation needs, educational and volunteer opportunities and more. It is a free service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it is confidential.

State of Vermont Department of Child and Family Services
The Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF) provides a wide array of programs and services, including adoption & foster care, child-care, child development, child protection, child support, disability determination, and economic benefits such as 3SquaresVT, fuel assistance and Reach Up.

State of Vermont Department of Corrections
The Department of Corrections supports safe communities by providing leadership in crime prevention, repairing the harm done, addressing the needs of crime victims, ensuring offender accountability for criminal acts and managing the risk posed by offenders.

State of Vermont Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living
The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living is part of the Agency of Human Services and provides a variety of services to Vermonters who are over the age of 60, or who have a disability. Within the Department there are four divisions, each responsible for different areas of service: Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Division of Disability and Aging Services, Division of Licensing and Protection, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

State of Vermont Department of Health
The Department of Health is part of the Vermont Agency of Human Services and is the State’s lead agency for public health policy and advocacy. The agency works in partnership with local health care providers, schools, businesses and community organizations to address public health issues specific to their community, and to carry out statewide initiatives at a local level.

Vermont Department of Mental Health promotes and improves the mental health of Vermonters. The agency consists of two programmatic divisions: Adult and Child, Adolescent, and Family Mental Health Units.

State of Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
VocRehab offers free, flexible services to any Vermonter or employer dealing with a disability that affects employment. By partnering with human service, providers and employers across Vermont, VocRehab helps people with disabilities realize their full potential.

State of Vermont Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs
The division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs was established to help Vermonters prevent, reduce and/or eliminate alcohol and other drug related problems. In partnership with other public and private organizations and ADAP plans, the division manages and evaluates a comprehensive, consistent, and effective system of substance abuse prevention, treatment and recovery services.

The Vermont State Police is a full-service law enforcement agency that provides primary law enforcement services to approximately 200 towns.

State’s Attorneys
The Department of State's Attorneys and Sheriffs seeks justice in the prosecution of criminal offenses, child abuse and neglect cases, juvenile delinquencies, mental health proceedings and some other civil matters.

Vermont Association of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery
The Vermont Association for Mental Health & Addiction Recovery is a statewide advocacy and education organization that supports all paths to recovery from addiction and mental health conditions.

Vermont Care Partners
Vermont Care Partners is a partnership between the Vermont Council and the Vermont Care Network providing statewide leadership for an integrated, high quality system of comprehensive services and supports. Our sixteen non-profit community-based member agencies offer care to Vermonters affected by developmental disabilities, mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

The Vermont Council of Developmental and Mental Health Services is the trade association of 16 non-profit community-based agencies that serve Vermonters affected by developmental disabilities, mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Vermont Care Network
Vermont Care Network (VCN) is a statewide provider network of 16 non-profit community-based agencies that serve Vermonters affected by developmental disabilities, mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Vermont Family Network
Vermont Family Network (VFN) promotes better health, education, and well-being for all children and families, with a focus on children and young adults with special needs.

Vermont Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health
Vermont Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health supports families and children where a child or youth, age 0-22, is experiencing or at risk to experience emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. The Federation collaborates with schools, communities, governmental and private agencies, and other advocacy organizations.

Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital (VPCH)
The Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital (VPCH) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of one of Vermont’s most vulnerable populations in a facility designed to promote and enhance patient recovery, the 25-bed, acute care hospital offers patient areas designed for comfort and safety.

Vermont Psychiatric Survivors
Vermont Psychiatric Survivors is a statewide peer-run organization with a focus on support, education and advocacy through a variety of smaller programs and initiatives, which range from the publication of Counterpoint (a mental health quarterly), outreach services, statewide patient representatives, to education and wellness training.

The Community Care Network provides a comprehensive array of human services to the people of Rutland County and other parts of Vermont through Rutland Mental Health Services and Rutland Community Programs.

By offering a wide range of professional mental health and developmental services, CSAC promotes stable and safe communities by helping people live emotionally healthy and satisfying lives.

Families First provides services for children and adults living with disabilities promoting independent living, enhancing self-esteem, and cultivating community membership through caring and respectful relationships. Families First is a Specialized Service Agency that provides case management, personal care, shared living, respite, employment support, and many community activities.

The Howard Center offers crisis and counseling services to children and adults, supportive services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, counseling and medical services for those struggling with substance abuse, and intensive interventions for adults with serious and persistent mental health challenges.

Lamoille County Mental Health Services provides comprehensive community mental health, developmental and related services to the citizens of Lamoille Valley.
